Located along the KYRKÖN 1 just outside Ryd in Tingsryd, Kronoberg County, Sweden, this Car Graveyard is in a peat bog and these cars are falling ever so into decay.

Åke Danielsson was born in 1914 and cut peat on the bog for a living. In 1940 he started a junkyard for wrecked cars, the business later closed in the 1980’s. Later in the 1990’s Åke Danielsson left the bog behind. Some believe that the toxins from the cars might be polluting the nearby ground and bog, but others believe it to be history from the 1900’s. The future of these cars remains uncertain.
