Spectre is a hidden town in the woods from the 2003 movie ‘Big Fish’. The town was actually a set built by the production crew for the movie on a private island on Jackson Lake. Spectre has a chapel, general store, some houses and more all set on a lovely landscape on the banks of the water. The town was initially thought to be used as a tourist spot after filming but this never fully occurred and now some of the structures are gone.

Admission to the site is $3 and entry is barred by a key padded gate.

As you can see in the bottom Google Maps image 2 of the buildings have been demolished from a fire and the future of the rest of the set is unclear because it resides on private property the owner can do as they will with it.
