Morgan’s Island opened in 2008 and was open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. The prices were extreme at $57 per adult and $47 per child. Located along Eagle Beach the venture had been planned as a good option for younger people to enjoy. It was donned as the ‘biggest’ water park in Aruba to date but unfortunately did not fare so well. It was intended to be more for the local clientele than the tourist and was set at cheaper prices, like 25 florins, for locals.

The park closed in 2010 due to some accidents that occurred on the purple water slide, it was unsafe and for the high entry prices for tourist and not a lot of interest from locals. There are only remnants of the water park now compared to what was there a year ago. The blue and white slide pictured above has been burned as you can see in the picture (towards the top of the slide). Many who went to Morgan’s Island Water Park when it was open did enjoy their time there and often say they wish it was still around.
